The pontifical estate covers about 17 hectares, it has been maintained with respect for traditions and the love of the land for several generations. The greatest attention is paid to the vines throughout the year. All the steps, from winemaking to bottling, are made with passion at the estate in the desire for a job well done.
The cold mistral during the flowering period and the little rain in the summer resulted in a low yield on their old vines, but as with all the vintages of the 2000s, quality is still present at the Pontifical Estate.
The aging takes place in oak barrels and barrels for 18 months in a cellar more than 100 years old.
